BRIEF
Public Concern at Work (Now Protect) launched its First 100 campaign, appealing to organisations from all sectors to commit to the principles of the Code of Practice and work towards compliance with it over time. The initiative would target a wide range of charities and public sector organisations, as well as the Civil Aviation Authority and the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
SOLUTION
A simple identity design concept was developed to illustrate the scheme's whistle-blowing initiative, which could then be used across various promotional material. All First 100 signatories were invited to participate in a survey looking back at their experience of implementing the Code. Participants were asked about the promotion of their whistleblowing arrangements, any corresponding trends in their use, the commitment shown by senior staff, any review work undertaken, difficulties with implementing the Code effectively and aspirations for the campaign going forward.
